Full RSS

I was reading a 6 year old rant about Hugo, the content builder I use to generate this blog. It raised a point about something I did not check: the RSS feed for this blog serves the summary of the posts instead of the full article.

Why I do not like Hugo:

[…] a bit less easy at first was figuring out that someone decided that RSS feeds should include, unconditionally, the summary of the article, not the full text, because, and I quote: «This is a somewhat breaking change, but is what most people expect from their RSS feeds.»

I don’t like when I can’t read the articles in my RSS feed reader.

If you wanted the full articles in the RSS, here we go. I apologize for not having checked this sooner. I expected Hugo to do the right thing™ but after reading the post linked above, I’m no longer assuming it does. I have added the feed to my RSS reader to make sure it’s fine in the future.

I use Zola elsewhere.
